And both have operations to Porto, as the entry gate of the region! In november they have revisited the region to update their knowledge about Porto & Northern Portugal, with highlights on Porto and its medieval heart but very contemporary buzz and sophistication and the unique charm of Douro, one of the regions with more touristic potential in Europe nowadays.
During this fam trip, in Porto they were lucky enough to stay at Hotel do Teatro, visit Carrís Hotel, with a networking event with some of the most relevant players of the tourism sector, and visit jewels such as the São Bento Station, rua Galerias de Paris or Avenida dos Aliados. While in Douro, they could not only taste one of the most appreciated wines in the World – Porto and Douro wines – but also have a Douro Valley 4x4 tour to admire the rich variety of fauna and flora and visit Quinta do Panascal, a “A” grade wine estate which offers some of the finest vineyards of the regions and produce wines such as Fonseca Vintage 1994.
It was a pleasure to have the Air France-KLM group on board!
